The University of Auckland International Excellence Scholarship is now available for International students who wish to continue their studies in Undergraduate, Bachelor, Masters programs at the University Of Auckland, New Zealand.
According to the QS World University Rankings, the University of Auckland has been placed in the first 100 universities worldwide. The institution is also classified among the biggest and top ranked universities in the country. The student population of the university encompasses 6,900 international students from over 120 different nations.
The University of Auckland received a five star rating plus QS Stars University for its performance in the Research, Employment, Education, Installations, Globalization, Knowledge, Innovation and Social Inclusion sectors.

The principal objective of the award is to encourage young, high quality international students to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program of one year or more at the University of Auckland.
There will be a maximum of 50 scholarships distributed twice a year, according to the first and second semester of study, with each grant being worth a maximum of $10,000 for graduate and undergraduate studies. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a mandatory credit for tuition expenses for the first year of study at the University of Auckland.
Eligibility requirements:
Candidates are required to be recent international students with an unconditional academic offer, and/or English Language Academy students with a previous conditional offer, applying to undertake a postgraduate degree or teaching master’s degree of 120 or more marks, or an undergraduate degree applying with foreign secondary or post-secondary academic skills at the University of Auckland. Typically, students are required to achieve an equivalent of at least 6 points.
Selection will be based on the student’s academic performance, the excellence of the application letter, and the approval of the candidate’s examiner. The applicant’s native home country will also be taken into consideration.
Applicants that have previously commenced their studies at the University of Auckland are not considered for admission, neither are students applying for a research master’s program. Undergraduate students from the University of Auckland Foundation, UP Education and Taylors College, as well as students who have left secondary school in New Zealand are not eligible.

Requests for awards are generally accepted approximately 6 weeks prior to the deadline. The closing date for submission of applications for courses of study beginning in February 2023 is November 2022, while the closing date for studies beginning in July 2022 is April 2022.
